Connecting Revscale to Zoho CRM
At Revscale, we want to ensure our platform fits seamlessly into your existing workflow. A key part of that is connecting to your Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
What You’ll Need
To get started, you'll just need three things:
- Your Revscale account
- Your Zoho CRM account
- A Zapier account (the free plan is perfect for this)
The Three Simple Steps
We'll get you connected in three main parts:
- Get a special link from Zapier. Think of this as a unique "delivery address" for your leads.
- Paste that link into your Revscale settings. This tells our system where to send your leads.
- Connect Zapier to Zoho. This tells Zapier to create a new lead in Zoho whenever we send one over.
Part 1: Get Your "Delivery Address" from Zapier
- Log in to your Zapier account and click the + Create Zap button.
- In the "Trigger" box, search for and select Webhooks by Zapier.
- On the right, under the "Event" dropdown, choose Catch Hook.
- Click Continue.
- Zapier will now give you a unique "Custom Webhook URL." This is the special link for Revscale. Click the Copy button.
- Keep this page open in your browser; we'll come back to it in a minute.
Part 2: Configure Your Revscale Webhook
For a visual walkthrough of this section, you can use this interactive guide:
- In a new browser tab, log in to your Revscale account.
- From the main menu, click on CRM.
- At the top right, click the Configure button.
- Paste the URL you copied from Zapier into the Webhook field. Pasting the link here tells our system exactly where to send your lead data.
- Click Save.
Important Next Step
To complete the connection, please create a new, sample lead in your Revscale CRM. This sends a test signal to Zapier so it can recognize your Revscale data structure for the final setup.
Part 3: Connect Zapier to Your Zoho CRM
- Go back to your Zapier window and click the Test trigger button. Zapier will find the sample lead you just created.
- Once you see the sample data, click Continue.
- Now, for the "Action" step, search for and select Zoho CRM.
- Under the "Event" dropdown, choose Create Lead and click Continue.
- Zapier will now prompt you to sign in to your Zoho CRM account. Follow the on-screen steps to authorize the connection.
This is the final step: Field Mapping.
Here, you'll tell Zapier how to place the Revscale data into the correct fields in Zoho:
- Click the Last Name field in Zapier. From the dropdown menu, select the Name property from Revscale.
- Click the Email field and select the Email property from Revscale.
- Continue this for any other fields you want to sync, like Phone or Company.
When you're done mapping the fields, click Continue.
Click Test step to send your sample lead to Zoho. We recommend you check your Zoho account to make sure it appeared correctly.
If everything looks good, click Publish.
That’s it! Your Revscale account is now connected to Zoho. All new leads will flow automatically, keeping your workflow in sync.
