LinkedIn Outbound Agent - Quick Start Guide
This guide explains how to get your LinkedIn Outbound Agent live and what to expect in the early stages.
1. Connect LinkedIn
- From your Revscale dashboard, start onboarding.
- Click Connect LinkedIn.
- Complete LinkedIn two‑factor authentication (2FA).
- Once verified, your account is connected.
2. Campaign Readiness & Warm‑Up
After connecting LinkedIn, the system assigns a Campaign Readiness Score based on your profile health.
- This score determines your warm‑up period
- Typical warm‑up: 7–14 days
- Outreach starts at low volume and gradually increases
During warm‑up, the agent performs light activity (profile views, post likes) before sending messages.
3. Set Your Outbound Strategy
You’ll answer a few quick questions to guide targeting:
- Company size and industries
- Geographic region (if territory‑based)
- Companies to exclude (competitors, partners, etc.)
- Campaign goals (e.g. meetings, networking)
Confirm to generate your outreach strategy.
4. Enable Outreach
- Go to the Outbound tab
- Select Preferences in the upper-right corner.
- Toggle Outreach Status ON
- Save changes
Once enabled, the agent begins outreach automatically.
5. How Outreach Works
- Leads are sourced automatically
- Dynamic messages are personalized per lead (role, industry, profile data)
- Activity includes both liked posted, profile views, Initial connection messages, InMails, follow-ups, etc.
6. Viewing Results
Your dashboard shows:
- Leads in progress
- Messages sent
- Positive replies
- Total leads processed
Lead lists refresh automatically every 3–7 days.
7. Understanding Lead Status
- In Progress: outreach is ongoing
- Completed: outreach has finished or a response has been received
The Last Agent Action tab shows the most recent activity (likes, connection requests, follow‑ups, InMail).
8. Reviewing Messages
Click View on a lead to:
- See why they were selected
- Review message history
- Read replies directly inside Revscale dashboard
You don’t need to log into LinkedIn to review conversations.
9. Improving Targeting
You can:
- Mark leads as a good fit
- Mark leads as not a fit
- Add leads to the blacklist to stop outreach
This feedback helps the AI improve over time. AI targeting aims to be accurate though, not mathematically perfect. If a lead isn’t a fit, marking it as such helps train the agent and improves future results.
10. Optional Agent Controls
In Settings, you can:
- Send positive leads to your CRM
- Enable email notifications
- Prevent outreach to existing connections
11. Knowledge Base & Agent Rules
Use these controls to guide how the agent communicates.
Knowledge Base: Upload documents (FAQs, positioning, collateral) so the agent understands your business.
Agent Rules: Set clear guardrails (topics to avoid, tone, constraints) to keep outreach aligned.
