LinkedIn Outbound Agent - Onboarding Guide
This guide walks you through setting up your LinkedIn Outbound Agent, defining your targeting, reviewing leads, and launching your first campaign.
Step 1: Access the Outbound Agent
- Navigate to the Outbound tab in the left-hand menu.
- Click Continue to begin the onboarding wizard.
Step 2: Connect Your LinkedIn Account
- Click Connect LinkedIn.
- Enter your LinkedIn credentials.
- Input the 6-digit verification code if prompted.
- Once connected, you’ll see a confirmation notification.
Step 3: Review Your Profile Readiness
After connecting, the system analyzes your LinkedIn profile and provides:
- A Campaign Readiness Score
- Insights into your profile strength for outreach
This helps ensure your account is positioned effectively before starting campaigns.
Step 4: Define Your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
- Industries (e.g., Construction, Consumer Services, Consumer Goods)
- Company Sizes (e.g., 2–10, 11–50, 50–200 employees)
- Target Roles
- CEOs
- COOs
- General Managers
- Other key decision-makers
Step 5: Set Your Territory
- Define your location (e.g., Fort Lauderdale, FL)
- Set your radius (e.g., 50 miles)
You can choose:
- Strict local targeting
- Broader outreach flexibility
Step 6: Exclude Unwanted Targets
- Competitors
- Specific companies
- Entire industries to avoid
This ensures higher-quality lead generation.
Step 7: Define Buying Signals (Optional)
Describe what triggers a purchase in your sales cycle.
Example:
- Difficulty converting inbound inquiries
- Low-quality leads
- Operational inefficiencies
This helps the AI prioritize better-fit prospects.
Step 8: Review Your Generated Sales Strategy
The system will automatically generate a strategy that includes:
- Your outreach channel (LinkedIn)
- ICP summary
- Targeting criteria
- Strategic recommendations
Step 9: Review and Qualify Leads
You’ll receive your first batch of AI-generated leads.
For each lead:
- Mark as:
- Good Fit → provide reason (right role, industry, location)
- Not a Fit → specify why (wrong size, outside territory, etc.)
Additional actions:
- View LinkedIn profile for more context
- Add contacts or companies to a blacklist
Once complete:
- Replace poor-fit leads with better matches
Step 10: Review & Customize Messaging
The AI generates personalized outreach messages for each lead.
You can:
- Edit tone and style
- Request adjustments (e.g., “make it more casual and warm”)
- Regenerate messaging instantly
Each lead receives tailored messaging based on their profile and context.
Step 11: Understand What Happens Next
Once launched, the agent will:
- Continuously generate new leads
- Stay within LinkedIn daily limits (safe + compliant)
- Send outreach automatically
- Notify you via email when prospects respond
Step 12: Launch Your Campaign
- Click Approve & Launch
- Your onboarding is now complete
What to Expect After Launch
- New leads are added approximately every 3 days
- Outreach runs automatically—no manual action required
- You only step in when a lead responds with interest
