Peer groups let you see how your location stacks up against comparable locations, which is often more useful than looking at your numbers in isolation.
What is a peer group?
A peer group is a set of locations that your franchisor groups together for comparison, usually because they are similar in size, region, or age. Your location can belong to more than one group. Comparing against true peers shows whether a result is strong or weak in context, not just on its own.
What can I see about my peer group?
You can see the peer groups your location belongs to and where you rank within them on measures like sales and margins, for example third out of eight. Rankings help you spot where you lead and where there is room to improve.
Why do I see my rank but not the actual dollar figures of other locations?
This is by design and protects everyone's privacy. Your franchisor decides whether a group shows real dollar amounts or ranks only. When amounts are hidden, you still see your own position in the group, you just do not see other locations' private numbers. If you expected to see a group and cannot, it may not be shared with locations yet, which your franchisor controls.
