Peer groups turn raw numbers into meaningful comparison. You control who is grouped with whom and how much they can see.
What is a peer group and how do I create one?
A peer group is a set of locations you group for comparison, usually by size, region, or age. You create a group, give it a name, and assign locations to it. A location can belong to more than one group, so you can compare the same unit against its region and against units of similar size at the same time.
How do I control what franchisees can see in a group?
Each group has two privacy settings you control. One decides whether franchisees can even see the group exists. The other decides whether they see real dollar amounts or only their rank within the group. A common setup is to let locations see their rank, for example third of eight, while keeping other locations' dollar figures private.
What are peer group insights and exports?
For any date range, FranFinance generates insight cards that surface useful comparisons, such as which location has the strongest margins or the highest labor cost relative to the group. You can also export a group's benchmark data to a spreadsheet when you want to analyze it further or share it in a review.
