Overview

This guide walks through your LinkedIn Outbound Agent after onboarding—covering dashboard insights, lead management, and key controls to help you stay informed and in control.

Dashboard Overview

Your main dashboard provides a quick snapshot of performance:

  • Total leads sourced and messaged

  • Connection requests sent & accepted

  • Messages sent (invites, follow-ups, InMails)

  • Replies (including positive, neutral, and negative; positive reply count shown when available)

  • Time saved

You can also:

  • Ask questions in natural language

  • Use preloaded prompts to quickly analyze performance

Outbound Agent Tab (Detailed View)

This section gives a deeper look into activity:

  • Leads Added - This shows the total number of new prospects that have been added to your outreach campaign. These are the contacts identified for potential engagement.

  • In Progress– This indicates the number of leads that are currently moving through your outreach sequence, such as connection requests, follow-ups, or scheduled messages.

  • Connections Sent/Accepted– This tracks your LinkedIn connection activity, including the number of connection requests sent and the number that have been accepted by prospects.

  • Messages Sent– This displays the total number of outreach messages sent across all communication stages and channels included in your campaign.

  • Positive Responses– This shows the number of prospects who have responded with interest or expressed a willingness to continue the conversation, helping you identify qualified opportunities.

You can adjust the timeframe (weekly, monthly, yearly) as needed.

Lead Management

Viewing Leads

  • Leads refresh automatically every 3 days

  • Click into any lead to see:

    • Their profile

    • Why they were selected

    • Their LinkedIn page

Training the Agent

For each lead, you can:

  • Mark Good Fit→ Get more leads like this

  • Mark Not a Fit→ Stops outreach and avoids similar leads

Agent Plan (Per Lead)

Each lead has a built-in outreach sequence:

  • Profile view

  • Post engagement (likes)

  • Connection request or message

  • Follow-ups

If a lead responds at any point:

  • The agent automatically stops outreach

  • You're notified to take over the conversation

Lead Statuses

  • In Progress→ Outreach is ongoing

  • Connection Accepted→ Still in sequence, no reply yet

  • Replied→ Lead responded, agent stops

You always have visibility into what step each lead is in.

Filters & Pipeline Visibility

Use filters to quickly find:

  • Positive responses

  • Accepted connections

  • Active conversations

This helps you prioritize follow-ups and opportunities.

Blacklist Controls

You can exclude:

  • Specific LinkedIn profiles

  • Companies

  • Entire industries

Useful for removing competitors or irrelevant audiences.

Preferences (Updating Your Agent)

You can directly edit inside the Preferences tab:

  • Edit fields manually - Update the field names, values, or settings as needed to match your lead sourcing requirements. You can manually customize each field to ensure the collected lead information aligns with your workflow.

  • Changes apply to future lead sourcing immediately - Once your changes are saved, they take effect right away for all new leads sourced going forward. Existing leads will remain unchanged unless they are updated separately.

Settings & Automation Controls

Auto-Reply (Optional)

  • Automatically respond to first messages - Enable an automatic reply for every first message you receive from a new contact. This ensures that anyone reaching out receives an immediate response, even if you're unavailable, helping you acknowledge inquiries and maintain engagement.

  • Add instructions (e.g., include booking link) - Customize the automatic response by including clear instructions or important information for the contact. For example, you can add your booking link so users can schedule an appointment right away, along with any other relevant details or next steps they should follow.

Notifications

  • Enable alerts for new responses - Turn on notifications to receive an alert whenever a contact sends a new message or replies to an existing conversation. This helps you respond quickly and avoid missing important interactions.

  • Stay on top of active conversations - With notifications enabled, you can monitor ongoing conversations in real time, allowing you to follow up promptly, maintain engagement, and provide timely responses to your contacts.

Additional Controls

  • Exclude existing LinkedIn connections

  • Adjust number of follow-up messages after connecting (1–4 messages, default is 4), found under Outbound > Preferencesas “Messages After Connecting”

Best Practices

  • Regularly review and train leads (Good Fit / Not a Fit)

  • Monitor positive responses and respond quickly

  • Adjust targeting as your strategy evolves

  • Keep messaging aligned with your tone and goals

Summary

Your Outbound Agent runs automatically, but you stay in control by:

  • Monitoring performance in the dashboard - Regularly review your dashboard to track key metrics such as leads generated, response rates, and overall campaign performance. Use these insights to identify trends, measure success, and determine where improvements can be made.

  • Training lead quality - Improve the quality of future leads by reviewing sourced contacts and providing feedback where applicable. This helps refine the system's lead selection over time, making future recommendations more accurate and relevant.

  • Adjusting targeting and messaging - Fine-tune your audience criteria and outreach messages based on campaign performance. Updating your targeting or message content can help increase engagement and improve the quality of responses you receive.

  • Managing conversations when replies come in - Monitor incoming responses and engage with leads promptly. Responding quickly, answering questions, and following up at the right time helps maintain active conversations and increases the likelihood of converting leads into opportunities.
