How to Review LinkedIn Outbound Messages

How to review message history, understand lead statuses, and use filters to prioritize follow-ups in your Revscale LinkedIn Outbound campaign.

This article explains how to review message history and responses within a Revscale LinkedIn Outbound campaign.

Where to Find Outbound Messages

  1. Log into the Revscale dashboard

  2. Click the Outbound Agent tab

This is where all LinkedIn outreach activity is managed.

Understanding Message Statuses

In Progress

This means the AI is still working through the outreach flow.

Examples include:

  • A connection request has been sent

  • The system is waiting for the lead to accept the connection

Message history may be incomplete while a lead is in this state.

Completed

This means the AI has finished the full outreach sequence for the lead, often ending at a step like Follow-Up 3.

No additional automated messages will be sent.

Completed leads are the best place to review outcomes.

Reviewing Message History

Clicking into an individual lead shows:

  • Lead details

  • Why the lead was included

  • The full message history for that lead

  • An Activity tab showing both completed and planned outreach steps in a timeline view, including what the agent has done and what is scheduled next.

While useful, this approach is slow when reviewing multiple leads.

The Faster Way: Using Filters

Instead of opening leads one by one, use the Filter option within the campaign to:

  • View all Completed outreach threads

  • See which leads have Replied

  • Identify read vs. unread messages

  • Filter through Positive or Neutral responses

This allows you to review activity and responses in bulk.

You can also assess lead engagement at a glance from the leads table itself — each row displays a sentiment indicator (positive, neutral, or negative) so you can prioritize responses without opening individual leads.

How to Prioritize Follow-Up

Using filters makes it easier to:

  • Focus on leads who responded

  • Review positive, neutral, or negative replies

  • Spend time only on leads who completed outreach or engaged

This streamlines review and follow-up significantly.
